Tracey Mallett has become an International Fitness Icon to millions of moms and working women across the world. During and after Tracey's first pregnancy, she gained over 55 pounds causing her to place her then current career on an indefinite hold due to a complete lack of confidence in herself and her appearance. She knows first hand that it's easy to lose sight of one's identity and self-confidence with all of life's daily stresses, and then what it takes to get back into shape, particularly after a pregnancy. Tracey has made it her mission to help motivate women to find their path to weight loss success and overall fitness with quick, simple and practical healthy solutions through sound nutrition and an easy to apply workout routine.
Born in the United Kingdom, Tracey began studying dance at the age of three and later studied at London's Premier Theatre Arts School, Italia Conti (former alumni include Tracey Ulman and Naomi Campbell). After successfully completing her studies, Tracey embarked on a career of musical theater and acting throughout Europe, which ultimately led her to the United States in 1996. Tracey is currently married and is the proud mother of two great kids and currently resides in Southern California. Tracey is the Founder and Owner of ATP Specific Training a Physical Therapy Facility in Pasadena, California. Tracey is a Master Pilates Instructor, a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of American (AFAA), as well as a Certified Sports Nutritionist with the National Association of Sports Nutrition (NASN).
Tracey's role as a bona-fide Fitness and Lifestyle Expert is exemplified in her two critically acclaimed books "Super Fit Mama" (2009, Da Capo Press) and "Sexy in 6" (2008, Da Capo Press), as well as the creator, producer and star of over seventeen Internationally released exercise DVD programs.
Tracey extends her wealth of knowledge as a Lifestyle and Fitness guru on The Style Network as well as Exercise TV, which reaches over 21 million viewers for her workouts. She most notably choreographed a cardio Latin dance for Fox Network's mega-hit show, "Dancing With The Stars" as well as hosted the recently released "Dirty Dancing" workout DVD by Lions Gate. Tracey's combined sales are of over one million units worldwide including an infomercial series in Japan. Tracey is a regular contributor for Prevention Magazine, Pilates Style, Shape, Fitness Magazine, Women's Health, Fit Pregnancy, SELF, Fit Yoga, OK! and Hers Muscle & Fitness. She was also recently enlisted to consult the #1 morning show in the United Kingdom, "GMTV" on a month long program called "Drop a Dress Size". With all that Tracey has accomplished, she feels she's only just begun to scratch the surface. The vision and the mission to pass along her knowledge and personal experiences, to hopefully help one more person make that healthy choice, to find their self-esteem and self-motivation and with any luck to make the world a healthier place.
